Even though North American vehicle manufacturers are required to mark high-value vehicle parts, catalytic converters did not have any identifying marks from the factory before 2023. We can fix that using our ID theft prevention system.

VRSS is the North American manufacturer of the PIN2VIN theft prevention label solution. After pioneering the industry with catalytic converter ID marking using CATGUARD and CATETCH, we have produced our own product line to better serve you.

Using the label/etched PIN (Product Identification Number) a detached catalytic converter is now traceable to what vehicle it was removed from. Law enforcement can search through Nlets, the North American police data base free of charge.

The solution is quick and easy to use.

The label provides a visible identification that is attached to the catalytic converter and the etching provides a secondary ID number right into the metal

For fleet and dealer applications, we supply bulk kits to help reduce the costs on larger applications
